• Construction projects at Vestgrensa student village

  Construction works in the vicinity

  UiO is building the Life Sciences Building near the student village. The work is estimated to be completed in 2026. There will be periodic noisy work while the work is ongoing. You can read more about the project here.

  Working hours: Monday – Friday between 07.00 – 19.00.

  If necessary, transport to and from the construction site can take place on Saturdays between 07:00 and 17:30.

  Noise and vibration are expected in connection with these works. The project will monitor the noise levels, dust, and vibrations on surrounding areas to ensure that they comply within applicable legislation and regulations.

• Car parking

  It's APCOA PARKING that rents out parking in the parking garage by the student village. Read more about how to purchase a parking agreement here.

• Storage

  Some of the housing units have their own storage room, whilst others share. All storage rooms are located in the basement and are marked with housing numbers.

• Public transport

  There are two subway stations located close to the student village, Forskningsparken and Ullevål Stadion. There are also trams and several bus lines in the area.

• Bicycle parking

  Bikes are parked in the outdoor bike shed or at the bike rack at Trimveien 6. 

• Waste

  At Vestgrensa, you can throw your trash in waste containers outside Trimveien 6 and 8.

• Roof terrace

  The residents of Trimveien 8 have access to a common roof terrace.

• Laundry

  If you live in Trimveien 6, you will have access to the common laundry in the basement.
