This is how it is at Blindern Student House

• Car parking

  There is a parking garage for cars and motorcycles in the student village. There you can rent a parking space on a monthly basis. Read more about the parking arrangement here.

  There is also street parking in the area. Here, municipal parking regulations apply.

• Public transport

  Majorstuen is a hub for public transport in Oslo. Here you have Majorstuen Metro Station as well as buses and city trams in just 10 minutes' walk away. You also have a bus stop in Kirkeveien which is approximately 3 minutes walk away.

• Storage

  There are wardrobes and shelves in the residence. One bedroom flats have their own storage unit outside the flat as well.

• Bicycle parking and bicycle workshop

  You can park your bike in the bike racks in the parking garage in the basement or the racks outside the building. The student house also has its own bicycle workshop.

• Waste

  There are sorting containers under the kitchen counter and waste containers outside near the entrance.

  Remember to recycle all your trash!

• Laundry

  There is a common laundry on the 1st floor next to the main entrance in 6A. Read more about how to use the laundry here.

• Study rooms

  There are 6 study rooms in the buildings. These are open every day from 07.00 - 23:00.

  2 study rooms are available to everyone in both building A and B. These can be found on the 2nd and 7th floors of the building A.

  There are also study rooms on the 2nd floor in building B and on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors in building A. These are only available to those who have access to these corridors.

• Roof terrace

  On the roof of Blindern Student House you will find a terrace with fantastic views of Marienlyst. It is open to everyone who lives in the building. Just remember that it is not allowed to grill or smoke there.

• Lifts

  There are two lifts in each entrance.
