Couple housing
This housing type is suitable for you if you want to live with your partner in your own flat.
Furniture
The housing comes with a closet, but is otherwise unfurnished.
Kitchen
The housing has a simple kitchen. The design and size may vary between units.
You need to get provide your own kitchen equipment, such as pots, plates and cutlery.
Appliances
The housing comes with a stove and refrigerator. A dishwasher is not included, and it is not possible to install one either.
Private bathroom
You have your own bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet.
Laundry
You will get access to the common laundry facilities. Read more about laundry and prices here.
It is not possible to install your own washing machine in your residence.
Storage unit
You have your own external storage unit.

Rent
The rent includes electricity/energy, heating, internet, stairwell cleaning, water, and hot water.
Tenants must provide their own router or network cable to connect to the internet.
Please note that the price is adjusted on August 1st each year.
The stated price applies to students who meet the criteria in our Allocation regulations. For other tenants, there will be an additional 20% added to the rent.

When renting student housing through SiO, the Tenancy Act §11-2 on student housing applies. This means you have fewer rights as a tenant, compared to renting other types of housing.
The rental period is fixed-term and will end on a set date. Here you will find guidelines on how to apply for a new tenancy contract later.
Ullevål Student Village
This student house is located in a tranquil residential area near Blindern. With excellent public transportation options, you are conveniently situated, with easy access to both the city and the nature of Oslo's forests. Additionally, St. Hanshaugen, Majorstuen, and Sagene are within walking or cycling distance.
Construction projects in Nedre Ullevål 9
We are building student housing on the 1st and 2nd floors of Nedre Ullevål 9. The project is expected to be finished in april 2025.
In July 2024, we will establish a construction site with fencing around Nedre Ullevål 9. Some of the parking spaces will be fenced off and inaccessible during the construction period. Residents with parking permits can still use the remaining available parking spaces near the building. There are parking options at Nedre Ullevål 7.
The basement of Nedre Ullevål 9 will be closed throughout the construction period. Residents will not have access to the laundry room, indoor bicycle storage, and storage areas in the basement while the works are ongoing. Residents of Nedre Ullevål 9 will have access to the laundry room at Nedre Ullevål 7 during the construction period.
Residents of Nedre Ullevål 9 will receive a monthly rent reduction of NOK 200 per unit due to the lack of storage during the construction work.
Working hours will be Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:00. There will be noisy works throughout the period.
Bicycle parking
Bicycles can be parked in the bike rack outside the student house.
Public transport
There are bus stops and tram stops close to the student village.
Car parking

Laundry
The student house's laundry is located in the basement of the building you live in.
The basement of Nedre Ullevål 9 will be closed throughout the construction period. Residents of Nedre Ullevål 9 will have access to the laundry room at Nedre Ullevål 7 during the construction period.
