Unfurnished double room

Unfurnished double room, meaning you will share a room with one other student. There are several social rooms in the house. The common kitchen has white goods except for refrigerators that you need to get yourself and keep in your room. The building has a traditional form with large rooms and high ceilings.

Note! If you wish to apply for a room here you must send a short description of yourself on e-mail via the contact form on sio.no, together with your application. In this student house, the residents themselves take part in the process of deciding who gets to move in.

It is not possible to install your own washing machine in your residence.

There is an external common storage unit.

Noisy construction work is ongoing as part of the renovation of Åsaveien 2.

The project began on 3 February 2025 and is expected to last for approximately 17 months.

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 19:00. In some cases, work may take place on Saturdays between 09:00 and 18:00 if needed.

The work will cause noise and dust, and there will be construction traffic in Åsaveien during this period. The work is being carried out by AS Realbygg.

The price of the different units of this housing type may vary. The variation can be due to factors such as size, floor, standard, timing of pricing, and more. You will be given an exact rent price when you receive a housing offer.

The rent includes electricity/energy, heating, internet, stairwell cleaning, water, and hot water.

Tenants must provide their own router or network cable to connect to the internet.

Please note that the price is adjusted on August 1st each year.

The stated price applies to students who meet the criteria in our Allocation regulations. For other tenants, there will be an additional 20% added to the rent.

When renting student housing through SiO, the Tenancy Act §11-2 on student housing applies. This means you have fewer rights as a tenant, compared to renting other types of housing.
