This housing type is suitable for you if you want to live with your partner in your own flat.

The housing comes with a closet, but is otherwise unfurnished.

The housing has a simple kitchen. The design and size may vary between units.

You need to get provide your own kitchen equipment, such as pots, plates and cutlery.

The housing comes with a stove, refrigerator and dishwasher.

You have your own bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet.

There are connections for a washing machine in the bathroom, where you can install your own washing machine.

There is a storage unit inside the residence.

The flats on the 4th floor have skylights only.

We are building 450 new student housing units in Nydalen Student Village

We are building three new buildings north of the two buildings that currently make up Nydalen Student village. The construction project is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.

The structural framework has been assembled, and the roofs on all three buildings are now in place. Towards the summer of 2025, we will carry out facade installation and interior construction works. Examples of construction works that will create noise are cutting materials and drilling in concrete.

There will also be some work on the outdoor areas, and there will be noise from excavators at times.

Working hours and noise

The project will cause noise and dust. There may be occasional reduced access in some places.

Working hours are Monday – Friday between 07:00 – 19:00.

Oslo Municipality is installing new public water and sewage pipes in Korsvollbakken and Maridalsveien. At the same time, they will be constructing new manholes.

The work will begin in at the end of March 2025 and is expected to be completed by July 2026.

There may be short periods of water outages during the works. These will normally last less than 6 hours and should be notified in advance.

The work will cause inconveniences such as reduced accessibility, construction traffic, noise, vibrations, dust, possible odours, and temporary brown water from the taps. Blasting work will be carried out in certain areas along the route.

The degree of wear and tear will vary from unit to unit. This means that the standard may be worse or better than the housing in the pictures.

Colours, flooring, fixtures and other things may also vary.

The rent includes electricity/energy, heating, internet, stairwell cleaning, water, and hot water.

Tenants must provide their own router or network cable to connect to the internet.

Please note that the price is adjusted on August 1st each year.

The stated price applies to students who meet the criteria in our Allocation regulations. For other tenants, there will be an additional 20% added to the rent.

When renting student housing through SiO, the Tenancy Act §11-2 on student housing applies. This means you have fewer rights as a tenant, compared to renting other types of housing.
