Unfurnished studio flat for single

Here you live by yourself in your own apartment.

The flat comes with a closet, and most of the flats from the 1st floor to the 12th floor have a desk. Otherwise, the flat is unfurnished.

It is not permitted to remove or replace the furniture that comes with the housing. If you do not want this furniture, we recommend that you apply for unfurnished housing types instead.

The housing has a simple kitchen. The design and size may vary between units.

You need to get provide your own kitchen equipment, such as pots, plates and cutlery.

The housing comes with a stove, refrigerator and dishwasher.

You have your own bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet.

You will get access to the common laundry facilities. Read more about laundry and prices here.

It is not possible to install your own washing machine in your residence.

A storage unit is not included.

Exterior renovation work

We will carry out exterior renovation work on the building during 2025.

Scaffolding

We will start installing scaffolding in February, and it will take approximately 8 weeks. There will be netting around the scaffolding. The scaffolding must remain in place until all work is completed and will be dismantled at the end of 2025.

Replacing windows and balcony doors

We will start replacing windows from April. The current balcony doors will be replaced with two windows and the top window will be able to open.

We will replace the roofing felt and upgrade the roof terrace

We will replace the roofing felt from May to June, and build a new roof terrace from June to August. The roof terrace will have new furniture, social zones, lighting, etc. The roof terrace will be closed from April to August.

Washing and painting the facade

We will wash and paint the entire facade from the beginning of August to September.

Working hours and noise

Working hours are Monday to Friday between 07:00-17:00. There will be construction noise throughout the period, and there will be additional noise when we assemble and dismantle the scaffolding. The works will also generate dust.

The degree of wear and tear will vary from unit to unit. This means that the standard may be worse or better than the housing in the pictures.

Colours, flooring, fixtures and other things may also vary.

The price of the different units of this housing type may vary. The variation can be due to factors such as size, floor, standard, timing of pricing, and more. You will be given an exact rent price when you receive a housing offer.

The rent includes electricity/energy, heating, internet, stairwell cleaning, water, and hot water.

Tenants must provide their own router or network cable to connect to the internet.

Please note that the price is adjusted on August 1st each year.

The stated price applies to students who meet the criteria in our Allocation regulations. For other tenants, there will be an additional 20% added to the rent.

When renting student housing through SiO, the Tenancy Act §11-2 on student housing applies. This means you have fewer rights as a tenant, compared to renting other types of housing.
