• Construction work near Vulkan student house

  There is an ongoing construction project in Brenneriveien 1 that will last to the third quarter of 2027.

  They will demolish existing buildings and build new ones.

  The working hours are 07:00-19:00 on weekdays and 08:00-16:00 on Saturdays.

  The work will cause noise in the area, and there will be construction traffic in Brenneriveien during this period.

• Car parking

  There are two HC parking spaces at the student house. It's APCOA PARKING that rents out these parking spaces. Read more about how to purchase a parking agreement here.

• Elevator

  There is an elevator connected to each entrance.

• Public transport

  From Vulkan, it is a short distance to buses and trams that take you to the center of Oslo in a few of minutes.

• Neighbourhood

  Vulkan Student House is located right in the heart of the action, perfect for those who enjoy being in the midst of everything. Right next to the student house, you'll find Blå, hosting events year-round. Enjoy the summer sun at Nedre Foss Park, just across the street. At the area Vulkan, you'll find everything from exciting culinary experiences at Mathallen to concerts at Vulkan Arena. Not to mention, you'll also find SiO's own gym, Athletica Vulkan!

• Bike parking

  On the ground floor, you will find bicycle parking.

• Waste

  At Vulkan, you throw the waste in a waste disposal on the square facing the street.

• Laundry

• Roof terraces and outdoor areas

  Each staircase has its own roof terrace that everyone in the staircase can use. Here you have a fantastic view of Oslo.

  Outside the building, there are outdoor areas facing Akerselva.
