Construction projects at Kringsjå
Kringsjå Student Village has undergone extensive upgrades in recent years. The work has, among other things, been based on input we received in a survey sent to all residents of Kringsjå in the autumn of 2017.
We will continue the development of the student village and in the years to come we will rehabilitate and build more student housing at Kringsjå Student Village. We started the next construction stage in the second quarter of 2022, and the construction time is estimated to last for 3 - 4 years. Up to 8 new buildings will be built that will accommodate approximately 500 flats; approx. 400 studio flats and 100 one-bedroom flats.
We will also develop the outdoor areas further. The goal is to create a vibrant student village for everyone who lives there. This means that residents of the student village will experience noise from construction projects.
Events
Kringsjå is a social and lively student village, with plenty of opportunities to meet new people. Events are regularly organized for those who live in the student village, such as an open-air cinema in the autumn and the lighting of the Christmas tree in December.
Storage
Most housing units have their own storage room, located in the basement. Remember to buy a padlock for the storage room.
Some of the housing units have a joint storage room for the tenants. In that case, you will find the key in the common kitchen.

The subway station at Kringsjå has frequent departures, and will take you to Oslo city center in 15 minutes. There are several bus routes and a night bus close to the student village.
