Upgrades at Kringsjå

In Kringsjå Student Village, we have recently upgraded the outdoor areas, opened a new laundry, built a new study room and built several new environmentally friendly student houses in solid wood, as well as opened the gym SiO Athletica Kringsjå.

SiO's main task is to offer housing for students in Oslo and there is a need for more student housing. We build as much as we can, and Kringsjå is well developed to welcome more students. After many years of preparation, we now have the opportunity to build more on our own property.

Works on the pedestrian and cycle path between Lyn-banen and the student village

We upgrade and relocate some parts of the pedestrian and cycle path between Lyn-banen and the student village. These works will last unit approx. mid June 2024.

The work started at the bottom Lyn court and up towards the Lyn clubhouse. Then we will continue to the upper part, from the Lyn club house and up to the turning point in Olav M. Troviks vei.

The footpath and cycle path will be closed to all traffic during the period the works are in progress. A temporary footpath and cycle path will run through the student village.

Working hours and noise The working hours are between 07:00-17:00. There will be some to a lot of noise from the work, depending on what is being carried out at any given time. If there is a need for drilling works, the degree of noise will be higher.

Rehabilitation of Olav M. Troviks vei 18
